Pioneer Valley Hospital was formed in 1983 and immediately began to meet the healthcare needs of West Valley City and the surrounding area. Pioneer Valley is known for having the busiest emergency room in the state.

To better serve its patients, the hospital is recently underwent a major $12 million renovation that substantially expanded the ER and renovate other sections of the hospital.

Pioneer Valley offers a broad range of healthcare services, including highly regarded women’s and childbirth programs, strong inpatient and outpatient surgery services, a bariatrics program, a sleep disorders clinic, advanced imaging services and a cardiac catheterization lab.
