Jordan Valley Medical Center was founded in 1983 to care for a rapidly growing community in the southwest part of the Salt Lake Valley, and the hospital has been busy ever since.

To meet the ever-increasing demand for hospital services, Jordan Valley is undergoing a $50 million expansion that will add a new patient tower to the facility. The expansion includes 80 new medical/surgical inpatient beds, a new 20-bed neo-natal intensive care unit, a 10-bed rehabilitation unit, new medical technology, additional operating suites and more space in the emergency department. This expansion is in addition to a recently completed project that doubled the size of the hospital's intensive care unit and added ten new birthing suites to the Women 's Center.

Jordan Valley Medical Center offers comprehensive healthcare for the entire family, including emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization, advanced diagnostic imaging services, a women's center, a pediatrics program and a broad array of surgical services.
