Dr. Daniel Fang was nominated by the Midwestern University Physician Assistant Program Class of 2017 for their Preceptor of the Year award.
Each year the program recognizes a clinical preceptor for their passion, dedication and excellence. Dr. Fang had received regular feedback from students showing appreciation for his interest in teaching. Students acknowledged his encouragement for their active participation, autonomy and self-directed learning, critical to their successful development as clinicians.
The Commencement Banquet dinner and awards ceremony was held Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Fang, M.D., FACS, has extensive experience in a wide range of bariatric and general surgical procedures.
